About the role:
We’re seeking a passionate and driven Sales Manager to join our team. This role offers autonomy, regional impact, and the opportunity to make a real difference in both customer relationships and business growth.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of a diverse customer portfolio across Central Victoria. Your focus will be a balance of retaining existing clients and driving new business development across your territory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers and deliver tailored sales solutions that meet customer needs
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes
- Prepare quotes for ad-hoc and long-term account customers
- Providing input and assistance with tender responses where required
- Manage safety, credit & contractual risk
- Ensure clarity & accountability in the role delivering results that are aligned with organisational goals
- Exceed KPI targets for operating margin and sales volume
- Develop and action key sales management plans
- Engagement in sales training and development programs
Ideally you will have:
- Current C Class driver's licence (minimum requirement)
- While a formal business qualification is valued, it is not a requirement, and candidates with relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the fuel industry or related industry such as transport and logistics along with a technical sales background.
- Sound business acumen with an ability to prospect and build an opportunity pipeline, business relationships and to foster a profile across the business and customer landscape.
- A knowledge of fuel products, lubricants and associated fuel storage solutions is highly desirable.
- The ability to travel regionally across a defined territory in Central Victoria with frequent overnight and multiple night stays is required.
- The ability to develop good working relationships with operational staff across a network of regional depots is crucial to the success of the role.
- Experience with CRM is highly desirable along with sound skills in the use of the MS suite products.
- Applicants must be comfortable with monthly, quarterly and annual budgets across a range of KPI's.
